I, myself, was like Kathi when it came to asking the Lord 'Why didn't God protect me'. The answer the Lord gave back was, he did. God protected me, like he did Kathi,-He allowed me to live-instead of finding death in the mist of a drug binge or other ave's of my past. Many of us could honestly say we wouldnt be sitting here today if it wasnt for Christ..even though we are living with HIV/AIDS today. That is Protection. Protection is that we are here, right now, given a second chance to live and a second shot at eternity. Sometimes when we walk out of the Lords will-we still want him to protect us. But sometimes we have to reap what we've sown from years before. In my case, when I asked the Lord, "Why didn't you protect me?" He replied, "I did." Without much thought, I could have been lost to death many years before-finding myself in hell. Its simple as that. I lived in a manner that if I had die, I would have been so far away from the Lords light. But God loved me soo much-he protected me from an eternity without his grace. God loves all of us that much! When we face HIV/AIDS, we need to understand that with Christ-life can still continue with much joy and happiness. The Lord is still watching over us even when we have diseases such as HIV/AIDS. We must remember, this life isnt all there is. There is abundant life with God-The here and now is just the beginning of our eternity with our heavenly father-we need to remember that in our ruffest hours. Like Kathi and I-God protected you too. Even if you have HIV/AIDS, God has protected you from something much greater than this disease, remember that. He has given us eternal life-This body, everybodies body will someday fade away. But our savior, Our God has given us a chance to have eternal life with him. God has given us a chance to live with such grace and love because of his son, Christ. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins-he protected us from much more horrible things than HIV/AIDS. He protected us from having to spend an eternity away from him. That, my friend, is what I call the ultimate Protection! AMEN!

Hello Ms. Kathi, Praise Jesus! My name is Julie from Uganda. I have heard so much about you and your crusade against HIV. I tested HIV+ in 1998. God has been good to me, his mercy has endured. I would like to know if there is a way I could get to help you in your work with HIV/AIDS, perhaps,, in my community or beyond.

May God continue to bless you,, and may he make his face shine upon you always.

Julie.
