Godly visualisation- Seeing your problem through the eyes of God

SEEING SOLUTIONS AND NOT PROBLEM

BIBLE TEXT: 2KINGS 6:15-17, Eph. 1:17-23

In the cause of waiting for God to speak when it’s like He is silent, especially when we so desparately needs in the area of healing of our bodies, many Christians tend focus all their attention only on the problems, and all they see is problem, impossible, not going to work, fear and uncertainty. And the devil will do everything at this point to magnify those seemingly difficult situations. But I wish to suggest that you to stop seeing the problems (that sickness, the stigma, the shame, the rejections) around you and start seeing the solutions (His healing virtues, his unfailing love, his mercy that endures to all generations, the father heart of God) with the eyes of faith, your spiritual eyes. Begin to visualised those problems the way God is sees them. Begin to have a godly visualisation

GODLY VISUALISATION: By this I am not talking about a new age concept, but the valid biblical tool of visualisation, the kind that the Apostles, the prophets and even Jesus Himself used.
The Bible recorded for us many examples of people who battled in prayer for years without seeing results, and then God spoke to them about focusing their spiritual sight and gladly obeyed and refocus their sight. This Godly visualisation helped them to receive the promises that God had given them.
ABRAHAM SAW HIS PRAYER ANSWERED: God promised Abraham a son. Several years later he was still waiting for the fulfilment. Imagine waiting for twenty long, agonizing years not days, months or weeks for the fulfilment of a promise made to you by the almighty, all seeing and loving God.
When God appeared on the scene, Abraham complained that he was going childless: “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
And Abram said, O Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and he that shall be possessor of my house is Dammesek Eliezer?” (Gen.15:1-2)
In response, God brought him outside and asked him to count the stars if it was possible for him to count them.
The picture of Gen.15:5 are that of infinite number of stars sparkling in the dark night sky as Abraham gazed into the heavens. His natural circumstances seemed hopeless and filled with impossibilities. After all he and the wife Sarah were too old to have a child , then God asked Abraham to change his outlook , and as he looked at the stars, he caught a fresh glimpse of God’s power and greatness. The promise of a son and descendants as innumerable as the stars suddenly became real. It seemed to Abraham that each of the stars were calling out to him “daddy, Daddy”. His imagination was filled with expectancy. And the Bible says “Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness”. His faith became so strong that he was willing to sacrifice his only son to God (Gen.22). His inward vision of God’s promises gave him the confidence that even if Isaac were to die, God would raise him up again. By now the spiritual visualisation inside of Abraham had become stronger than what his physical eyes could see
The powerful tool of Godly visualisation helped Abraham to receive from God. Can you see your your healling with your spiritual and approriate it to your life now as Abraham did? Though God appears to be silent?. This dynamic spiritual law can be both claimed and possessed by any child of God. IF YOU SEE IT YOU CAN HAVE IT. You are a child, redeemed by the blood, a joint-heirs with Christ. So rise in faith and claim and possession your healing today in Jesus Name

JOSHUA SAW HIS PRAYERS ANSWERED: You can imagine the agony of Joshua he pondered the conquest of Jericho, but we read:
“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?” (Josh.5:13 )
Joshua looked up and saw the angel of the Lord. Instead of looking at his circumstances, he saw God’s presence. Then god said “see I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valour” (Josh.6:2)
Again at the conquest of the city of AI, God said “see I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city and his land” (Josh. 8:1)
Notice the recurring word SEE. The lesson here is obvious. God told Joshua to use godly visualisation, seeing with the eyes of his spirit, in order to conquer and be victorious. This was in stark contrast to the defeat and despair that Joshua saw with his natural eyes. If you can see God’s promises with your spiritual eyes in those circumstances surrounding you that is threatening, then you can conquer and have heaven’s answer for you.

3. ELIJAH SAW HIS PRAYERS ANSWERED: 1KINthat was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”. (Heb.12:2).
What was it that Jesus saw? What was the joy that was set before him?. GS 18:41-46

4 JESUS SAW HUMANITY SAVED: During his earthly ministry Jesus operated not as the son of God, but as the son of man (Luke 22:22), Jesus had to apply the same prayer and faith principles, that you and I must apply today. In the darkest hours of his life on earth, when he was beaten, mocked and scourged and crucified. Everything looked hopeless, yet at that moment, Jesus saw something beyond what the natural eyes could see;
“looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy His spiritual seed (can you see your healing now, can you see the life ahead of you and not death as reported by the Doctors?) “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.” (Isaiah 53:10).
Jesus saw our salvation. Even as nails pierced his hands and feet, saw the redemption of man through his sacrifice. Jesus visualised
a. Our salvation- yours and mine
b. Billions that would be saved because of his death and resurrection.
c. Thousands of lost souls thaat will be saved by your testimony. All the work that the Church shall do around the world is only because of what Jesus has done.
Godly visualisation was what strengthens Christ to endure the cross.
The key godly visualisation is:
a. Open your inward eyes.
b. Visualise the victory that God provided for us through Christ death on the cross.
c. Be assured that the devil has already been defeated.
d. Claim Jesus provision for your victory.
e. See yourself blessed, overcoming and victorious.
Bless you
Ike
