- Im gonna have to check that book out by David Nasser sometime. Sounds interesting, Troy. One book that helped me get thru the tough times a few years ago was a book called, "Your Scars are beautiful to God"-I had to order it online-but very much worth it. The book was soo good that I let one person borrow it, then I let another person read it and so on..to the point that I havent seen it in over a year or so. Not sure where it is..wherever it is, I pray that someone is touched by those stories in it. Tons of testimonies from people. The book is about allowing your scars be seen-Of course, let those scars heal first, but dont cover them up when they do. Example being Christ. When he was rose from death, he kept his scars to show others. Got to check out the book! Its awesome, my friend

- Thank you Troy for the awesome comment you left me. Man, I tell ya-its soemthing else when you find out that your life is about to change! I think we all have to go thru that moment of 'shock and awe'. Almost like a panic-attack. Actually, it is one. Glad to see you are on the right track. You might want to get ahold of someone this site to see if they can help you find a church in your area (if you havent found one) that works with the needs of gentlemen like ourselves. It can be a bumpy road for a while cause its a change of life-but what we have to remember, its not the end of it. In many ways, its a new life! AMEN! God bless you, my brother.
