Become a He Intends Victory Ministry Associates
A Ministry Associate is someone who, as an individual, would like to be encourager or friend, available for HIV/AIDS ministry to someone in their area.Mission Statement for Ministry Associates:
- To promote faith and hope in Jesus Christ as our living and personal God.
- To provide a loving, Christian witness and scriptural literature at HIV/AIDS meetings; to counsel with individuals infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS; and to participate in other community outreach situations.
- To support Christians with HIV/AIDS in their relationships with
church, family and community.
Qualifications for Ministry Associates:
- Commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, regular participation in a church community with accountability to church leadership (elders, pastors, etc.).
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS resources in the community (such as housing, medical, testing, financial services, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers).
- Access to telephone and/or e-mail.
- Maintain confidentiality with all individuals contacted within the role as a He Intends Victory Ministry Associate.
- Approval by the He Intends Victory Board, subject to ongoing
review.
I desire to work with and represent the ministry of He Intends Victory. I agree with the Mission Statement and Qualifications, know that I have no authority to raise funds or incur debt, and will abide by the authority of the Board of Directors of this ministry.
