He Intends Victory Community Policy
You are required to have read these policies before you continue
using the He Intends Victory Online Community (HIVOC).
Policy is subject to change without notice and it is the member's
responsibility to stay current on acceptable community behaviors
and expectations. HIVOC reserves the right to ban users or remove
posts at our sole discretion for any reason, anytime.
1. You must 18 years or older to participate in the HIVOC.
2. Any language, text, data, information or graphics that could be considered vulgar, pornographic, obscene, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, unlawful; that are racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; or that violate any copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person will be removed. Also, name calling, backbiting (attacking a person’s character or to speak of unfavorably) or gossiping (spreading rumors or talk meant to damage another’s reputation) is not allowed in this chat room. "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." - Ephesians 4:29
3. Do not negatively talk about other members, their problems or their personal matters unless they are a part of the discussion.
4. Never ask for or give out photos, email addresses, instant messenger ID’s, last names, or other personal information about yourself or someone else. You assume FULL responsibility of such actions and is a valid reason for being banned from the HIVOC. Please keep in mind that we do not screen any of the members and you assume complete responsibility for any outcome if you make your identity known in any way. If you want to give your email address to someone, please contact the moderator. If they are comfortable with the exchange, they will assist you in a way that is confidential.
5. Do not offer or accept any financial opportunities with members not associated with the He Intends Victory ministry. If you commit to a financial transaction of any kind, you do so at your own risk. He Intends Victory is not, in anyway, financially or otherwise, liable for the outcome as a result of any fraudulent activity done on or through the HIVOC.
6. Do not misrepresent yourself, your gender or your situation. People are taking time to talk with you and misrepresenting yourself wastes their time, is disrespectful and amounts to game playing. Also, do not attempt to impersonate anyone associated with the He Intends Victory Ministry.
7. Please keep in mind the verse “Do unto others what you would have them do unto you - Matthew 7:12” regarding manners. Take time to listen to other people’s problems and stories… don’t just ask people to listen to yours, treat others with courtesy and respect and make new people feel welcomed.
8. If you are married, we expect you to behave in a way that honors your marriage. That includes no flirting or intimate talks with anyone other than your spouse. If it appears a married person is getting too personal with another member - we may ask you to modify your behavior or leave the HIVOC.
9. If you are currently not married, we expect you to behave in a way that honors a sexually pure walk. That means no suggestive/sexual talks with others in an attempt to seduce.
10. You will not post any advertising of other websites, products or promotional materials or any other forms of solicitation. Likewise, you will not post any links to any other websites that is intended to draw a member away from HIVOC and to a different but similar website.
11. If another Christian disagrees with you theologically do not immediately jump to the conclusion that they are not truly saved just because they disagree, as there are differences of opinion in translating Biblical doctrine.
12. To the extent possible, all postings and conversations are the property of the He Intends Victory Ministry. By participating you have granted He Intends Victory the license to use them for any purpose whatsoever. For this reason you may not post any material for which you do not own the copyright.
13. He Intends Victory Ministry is not responsible for the content discussed in the HIVOC or its accuracy. Keep in mind that unless indicated otherwise - you are talking with other members - not licensed therapists or medical doctors and should not construe any ideas, suggestions or advice given by another member as “counseling” or medical advise.
